The Various Diners of Whatcom County 14: Three Flavors Kitchen

Back to Everson, and its sister village just to the east -- Nooksack!  Welcome to Three Flavors Cafe, which is strange because they have American, Italian, Mexican, and Chinese dishes on offer!  (Check out the menu, page five if you don't believe me!)  While out of the way for many, I'd say it's more than worth the trip.

A little weird is fine by me.  It definitely feels like a diner, but if you're hankering for Kung Pao Chicken you'll fit right in no problem.

Vibe:  A Global Diner, why not?

Song heard:  The Mamas and the Papas, "California Dreamin"

Coffee:  Average.

Did the yolk pop like it should?:  Not really.  And the muffins were soggier than they should have been pre-attempted-pop.

Can I sit and read a while?:  Yes, I get the impression this place actually does a thriving Friday and Saturday night dinner business though.

Price:  $19.54

Irish Eggs Benny?  So shouldn't it be five flavors kitchen?  I stuck with the traditional.  As mentioned, the eggs were a bit overcooked.  The hash browns were nothing special.  But then again, this place has a ton of charm.  Just sipping your coffee and watching the eighteen wheelers go by in the rain is an edifying way to spend part of anybody's morning.  The service was great, and how can you not root for a place that has Mongolian Beef and Chimichangas on order?

I will be back.  How could I not?
